Junior Secondary
As students transition into the Junior Secondary section, our aim is to provide them with a well-rounded education that prepares them for the challenges of their teenage years.
Our curriculum is designed to provide tailored, flexible routes through each school. These are created through the combination of a range of courses and sensitive, flexible setting and grouping arrangements. The organisation of the curriculum is reviewed and refined annually depending on the size, profile and needs within each individual school.
Key Stage 3 (KS3)
In Key Stage 3, students study a broad and balanced range of subjects. We want students to be inspired and exposed to a range of courses, taught by specialist teachers, all passionate about their subjects
The curriculum in Years 7, 8 and 9 should build a bridge between primary school and IGCSE and WASSCE study, increasing exposure to subject specialisms and provide solid foundations of Knowledge and Understanding and Key Skills in a broad and balanced range of subjects. The curriculum should provide inspiration and challenge for young minds and support them to take their place in society and modern Britain as successful learners, confident individuals and responsible, employable citizens.
Through a blended curriculum that integrates elements from the British and Nigerian systems, we offer a wide range of subjects that stimulate intellectual curiosity and encourage independent thinking. We provide a supportive learning environment that fosters personal growth, social development, and the acquisition of essential life skills
