Principal
Israel Iyamu is the Principal of Surefoot International School, bringing visionary leadership and a deep commitment to academic excellence. With extensive experience in educational administration, he has been instrumental in shaping SIS into a leading institution that nurtures well-rounded, globally competitive students. His leadership philosophy centers on creating an environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
Freedom Iwara, Ph.D.
Admin & Academic
Dr. Iwara oversees the academic and administrative operations of the school. With a doctorate in Education, he ensures that SIS maintains the highest standards of academic excellence.
Ms. Ijeoma Ejiakonye
Early Years & Primary
Ms. Ejiakonye leads our Early Years and Primary sections with dedication and expertise. She specializes in childhood development and curriculum design for young learners.
Mr. Charles Iniobong
Senior Secondary
Mr. Charles brings extensive experience in secondary education management. He is committed to preparing students for higher education and lifelong success.
Mr. James Eche
Head of Business Office
Mr. Eche is a Chartered Accountant (ICAN) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Administration, currently concluding an MBA in Finance. Before joining Surefoot International School in August 2026, he served as Head of Finance at Great AJFC Nig. Ltd., Accountant at Orange Resort Ltd. and Account Officer at M.R.S Oil & Gas. At Surefoot, he leads the school's finance and business operations, bringing expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance and operational efficiency.
Mr. Goodnews Sunday
Key Stage 3
An experienced educator with over seven years of teaching experience. A Communication Arts graduate and a trained journalist, he blends academic rigour with dynamic teaching and student engagement. He is committed to fostering critical thinking and guiding students towards excellence and lifelong learning.
Mr. James Ojeaga Peter
Sports Coordinator & Coach
An experienced Sports Coordinator and Summer Camp Coordinator at Surefoot International School, with over 15 years of experience in sports development, physical education and youth coaching. He is a Physical and Health Education (PHE) educator, fitness coach, fitness instructor, dance fitness instructor and gymnastics coach with a passion for developing children through sports and active learning.
